5% rise in investments' fund volume

The global volume of the assets managed in investment funds grew by 5% in the
first quarter

The total volume of the assets managed in investment funds globally grew by 5% in the first quarter to EUR 12,4 thousand billion according the last report of the European Fund and Asset Management Association. The net pay-ins reached EUR 147 billion as opposed to EUR 121 billion one year ago. The growth is 5% in equity funds, 6,1% in bond funds and 3,1% in money market funds. In Hungary the volume of investment funds jumped up by 46% in the first quarter of the year 2005 to reach HUF 1553 billion by the end of the quarter.
